- I'm a Canadian who loves to paint. It's what I've always done as a hobby and a living. This blog is about doing more of that every day! Lucky for me I also have a very talented artist for a husband who encourages me! My subjects may vary and also the style from time to time, but that's what it's all about, a chance to develop and play. My background varies from being a decorative artist, a portrait, landscape and still life painter and a painting instructor among other things. I'm a newfie and grew up in the small northern town of Wabush,Labrador (very cold and beautiful)! I love how I see the world... hope you enjoy it also! I have a BFA in Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD), in Halifax, NS. All Paintings are available unless marked as sold and can be purchased in Canadian funds through Paypal, but will be shipped from Chicago (the beautiful Windy City) where I now live. I can ship to any where in North America.I also do portrait commissions , redo's of some of my older pieces and do commissions based on the clients interests (ie: a photo or subject matter they which to have turned into a painting). I have posted a comment just to let you know how you have inspired me to paint
Every day I look at you Blog to see what you have painted next and I have loved every one. You have inspired me to pick up my paint brush as soon as I finish work also I have now started to post some I of my efforts on my own Blog. Unfortunately I never took pictures of some of my paintings but I will from now on. Anyway thank you very much for your inspiration and I will continue to view your site every day.
