I recently had the honor of once again being part of the amazing magazine Poets/Artists (pages 25-26-27) and honored to say that I’m also the back cover :) . It was a collaboration issue. I was given the privilege to work with the amazing poet Donna Hilbert. Donna and I choose the amazing actress Giulietta Masina, the wife of director Federico Fellini as our muse.  Donna’s poem will make your heart skip a beat… it truly tells the tale of Masina’s magnificent life on and off stage. I think both our work melded beautifully together :)

Guilietta Masina, the waiflike actress who became one of Italy’s best-known movie stars, died today in a Rome hospital less than five months after the death of her husband, the director Federico Fellini. She was 73.

So I think I’ve fallen in love with Golden Acrylics!! First arcylic painting in years!! Maybe it’s time for a change, God knows I could do without having to take allergy Med’s and dealing with skin rashes from my oil paints (I do love the oils though… well maybe i’ll still sneak in a bit of oil painting from time to time ;P!)

Julie is the model in this one… again (gladly) :D , I got a lot of Fab photo’s of her from our session earlier this year, and have plenty more to paint of her ! You can check out Julies links here.
